5.1.1 World-leading Mechanical Centrifugal Pitch-controlled Technology
Pitch angle is regulated according to rotor speed to maintain maximum wind power utilization
coefficient.
1 Positive blade angle(+10°) is large for initial position. Acceleration performance is good. It
starts up at low wind speed of 2m/s;
With below-rated wind speed, monitored rotor speed is regulated at optimal tip speed ratio,
realizing high rotor output efficiency;
2 With above-rated wind speed, pitch angle is regulated negative, and rotor speed remains
around the rated value, realizing stable output power below the upper limit.
5.2 Smart, Safe, Unattended System
5.2.1 Smart Control
Based on the cutting-edge electrical control technologies across the world, the main controller
center of 30kW pitch-controlled wind turbine is the new-generation smart electrical system
integrating the properties of pitch-controlled system. Employing the electrical elements from the
top-class factories around the world, the hardware operates stably and has great anti-jamming
ability. The software adopts redundant control strategy to ensure safe and reliable operation of the
wind power system. With a high expandability, the system is compatible with famous-brand
converters and remote modules to meet the one-stop service demand of customers.
Smart Protection
The 15 redundant safety protection measures include yawing brake protection from such failures
as overvoltage, overcurrent, over-rotating speed and lower pressure, protection by sensors of
voltage, current, rotating speed, wind speed and wind direction, emergency brake protection from
failures in yawing and pitch-controlled systems, stop under over-wind speed and operation
resumption under low wind speed to make sure the wind power system operates safely and
reliably
5.2.2 Smart Safety Protection System
Smart safety protection system is an independent patent technology, which is a pioneer in the industry.
It is mainly composed of wind speed detection equipment, smart control system and brake/brake release
mechanical assembly.
1 It smartly controls operation and stop status of the generator by detecting such signals as
wind speed, system voltage, system current and controller status.

With wind speed of over 30m/s (adjustable), when voltage or current exceeds the rated
value or the controller outputs abnormal signals, the smart safety protection system brakes
the generator to stop, ensuring safety under abnormal working condition.
3 When working condition meets the operation requirement, the system controls the generator
to release brake and restart.
5.2.3 Maintenance-free in 3 years Design
Long-term protection design in essential parts ensures failure-free operation in a long time. The
WTG needs no maintenance in the first 3 years after installation. After 3 years, lubricating
grease is added once per year, and the connecting components and the appearance are
checked.
Double technical measures ensures safe and stable operation.
Pitch-controlled technology and smart safety protection system ensure stable operation under
gale working condition, avoiding the impact from the generator on WTG and electrical system
due to uncontrolled overload operation.
6. Remote Monitoring
The remote monitoring system monitors real-time operation, automatically sends signals to
control the operation status, and brings clients feedback on operation or failure through the Internet. It
debugs the system to ensure normal operation in a real-time and efficient manner.
